A private pause before the urge takes over

Choose apps with Apple's private system picker. When one pulls you in, a reversible Hold Me To It pause helps you decide what happens next. No account. Your content stays on this iPhone.

How it works

Setup is Apple authorization, app selection, and Done. Hold Me To It stores only Apple's device-local opaque selections—not your installed-app list or raw Screen Time history.

Choose your apps

Approve Apple's Screen Time request, then search for and select individual apps in Apple's system picker.

Meet a private pause

Opening a selected app shows a generic, reversible HMTI shield. It never displays your goal, recording, history, or a behavior label.

Decide intentionally

Stay with your goal or continue intentionally for 15 minutes. HMTI cannot decide for you or prove what you do inside another app.

Private by design

Version 1.0 is local-first and uses Apple's Screen Time frameworks only on the iPhone you configure.

  • No account or sign-in
  • Screen Time access is explicitly approved and can be revoked
  • No advertising or analytics SDKs
  • Goals, recordings, reflections, and history stay on this iPhone
  • Only opaque selected-app tokens stay in protected, device-local storage
  • No raw Screen Time history, installed-app list, or financial access

Support is always available

Hold Me To It is a self-help tool. It is not medical care, emergency monitoring, or a guarantee that gambling will stop.
